Windows 11 and Windows Server licenses are required for session host deployment. For Windows 11 session hosts one of the following user licenses are accepted: Microsoft A3/A5/E3/E5/F3/F5, Windows 11 Enterprise E3/E5 or Windows 11 VDA. For Windows Server based session hosts, a Windows 11 Server license is required along with one of the following per user licenses: an RDS CAL with active Software Assurance, and RDS User Subscription, or an RDS SAL
